Cynthia Hurt currently resides in Memphis, TN.  She is a live music, commercial, and event photographer.  Her most notable clients include Chicago, the band, Shenandoah, Bud Light, Harvard University, Main Street Hub and more...

In 2013, she was just a hobbyist in bird photography, but snuck her camera into a Chicago concert.  Some of the photos resulted in a couple of fans, later turned friendships, with Chicago's percussionist, Walfredo Reyes, Jr, and Chicago's drummer, Tris Imboden.  In late 2015, at 41, she left her long time secretary job and went out on the road to pursue a career in photography.  In early 2016, acclaimed music journalist, Alan Cross, published an article about her transition from bird photography into live music photography in this article.  Around the same time, Chicago, the band, hired her to shoot for their booklet celebrating their induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and their 50th anniversary tour.

Her experiences during, before, and after this pivotal time can be followed in her blog, Only Time Will Tell.
